I'm very interested to find out information so that I can get the genealogy correct.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05752777327833002571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085976252980587905.post-6707180836428191612019-03-14T23:11:12.521-04:002019-03-14T23:11:12.521-04:00I finally found another version of William Parsons...I finally found another version of William Parsons's will from 1757 and it states that 3 of his children (Susanna, Robert, and Hannah) had already died but there there were 3 other children still living and they were all girls (Ann Mary, Johanna Grace, and Juliana Sarah). So, William Parsons of Easton is not the father of the William Parsons who is the father of Charles Parsons in Ripley, WV. I also found out that our federal census process didn't start until 1790. Luckily though, there was a will. But to find out where this other William Parsons came from and who his father was may be very difficult.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15138853129164270852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085976252980587905.post-10752145873457970442019-03-14T01:38:00.735-04:002019-03-14T01:38:00.735-04:00I'm sorry. In William Parsons's Will from 1757, one paragraph of it said he had 3 children and it gave their names, while another paragraph said he had 6 children but it didn't give any of their names. So if he actually did have 6 children, then it's possible he had a son named William and that would clear up a lot of my concern. And if there is a census of Easton from 1740, that might just solve this mystery.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15138853129164270852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085976252980587905.post-29310169135953336782019-03-14T01:28:35.706-04:002019-03-14T01:28:35.706-04:00I also meant to say that the Charles Parsons you m...I also meant to say that the Charles Parsons you mentioned is one of my great grandfathers and that information is correct as far as I know. However, his father is who I am also having trouble confirming. I am pretty sure it is a William Parsons but unfortunately, it is definitely not the William Parsons of Easton, PA. I think he came from Maryland with 2 of his brothers in 1725. That's about as far as I've gotten to almost confirming his identity.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15138853129164270852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085976252980587905.post-78796846688435460942019-03-14T01:22:57.768-04:002019-03-14T01:22:57.768-04:00I just read the Last Will and Testament of William...I just read the Last Will and Testament of William Parsons and it states he only had 3 children which were 2 girls and a boy named Robert who died in 1746 before marrying. So I don't think that you still have the genealogy lineage quite right but I could be wrong.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15138853129164270852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085976252980587905.post-2070117646654571332019-03-05T19:20:15.747-05:002019-03-05T19:20:15.747-05:00Thank You for this blog post. Since there paths crossed more than once I may use him in a part of the story.K Greenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05876387062760713694noreply@blogger.com
